Jay Z encabeza con nueve las nominaciones al Grammy

LOS ÁNGELES, ESTADOS UNIDOS (24/ENE/2014).- El rapero Jay Z encabeza con nueve la lista de nominados a la 56 entrega del Grammy americano por la Academia Americana de la Grabación (NARAS, por sus siglas en inglés) y cuyos ganadores se conocerán el próximo domingo.

Pero las siete postulaciones de los debutantes del hip-hop y del matrimonio del mismo sexo Macklemore & Lewis y las mismas del rapero de Compton Kendrick Lamar se han convertido en la sorpresa para esta entrega anual a lo mejor de la música en Estados Unidos.

El himno del matrimonio gay de Seattle entre Macklemore y Lewis, "Same love", fue nominado a Canción del Año y junto con el rapero angelino Lamar son los favoritos en rubros como Álbum del Año y Revelación.

Con estos noveles cantantes también aparecen sorpresas de nominados, como la cantautora Lorde, de 17 años, y Kacey Musgraves, debutantes que en total acumularon 22 nominaciones para una cifra relevante.

También recibió siete nominaciones Justin Timberlake, y en unas de éstas Timberlake compartió dos con Jay Z.

Taylor, la estrella del country y quien ha sido una de las triunfadoras absolutas de las pasadas entregas, esta vez fue postulada en cuatro categorías.

Jay Z además de las dos nominaciones con Timberlake, fue postulado con su esposa Beyoncé en Colaboración Rap/Sung, Actuación Rap y Video Musical, entre otras.

Los ganadores se conocerán en la ceremonia que se llevará a cabo el 26 de enero, en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles.
